RAPED IN MEMPHIS

I am interested in hosting a party and maybe becoming a "consultant" to sell. My husband read an article about you in our local paper and he is very interested in me doing something like this. I live in one of the most violent cities in the United States, Memphis, TN. Six years ago I was a victim of rape and my attacker has not been caught. As you can imagine this still gives me nightmares and panic attacks when I'm by myself. Three years ago my father-in-law was attacked by gang members for an initiation into a gang here in Memphis. This attack put him in ICU for two weeks because he had to have surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. He was 83 at the time and just surviving something like this is hard enough, but he also had to learn to feed himself again, walk, talk, tie his shoes, do math, and many other everyday things. And now just 2 weeks ago my younger brother was robbed and hit over the head with a gun as he was delivering a pizza. He has five staples in his head now. This is just too much for one family to handle. None of these attackers have been caught so all of us live in fear daily. We all want to pick up and move but we know crime will be anywhere. But maybe we could all feel a little safer with this.

I would like to know more about this company and the Taser. I feel that I have a lot of personal stories to draw from and would really like everyone in my family and my friends to own one of these Tasers. Thank you for your time.

SCARED IN MISSOURI

My name is Jan and I live in a small community but work in a Community where the crime rate just in the last couple of months has risen considerably, I don't know if it is because the Christmas season is here and there are many that can't make ends meet but just 5 miles from where I work a woman age 50 was murdered 2 weeks ago at a Comfort Inn Motel on Interstate 70 in Missouri. She had a single bullet to the head, the assaliant locked her in her office, took her keys to the motel and locked the door to the motel so the morning crew couldn't get into the building. I work alone in my office most of the time and nobody would find me injured or dead unless a customer walked in and found me, and that is if they didn't lock the front door. If I don't answer the phone it goes to voice mail and again no one would think much of that either. We live in a way too much automated world today and people expect to get voice mail and the person may or may not get back to them. I have been with the company I work for 28 1/2 years and I am very surprised that they don't think this would be a big liability leaving me alone on a busy interstate working in their company. So far nothing has been said or done about this situation. I feel that I need to take some safety matters in my own hands. The company I work for will not allow firearms on the property and at one time I had Pepper Spray under my desk. You have to be pretty close to the assaliant for it to be effective or (they can take it away from you and use it on you) and they expire pretty quick, so I have been on your site and it says the C2 can be used up to 15 feet away. My desk to the entry to the reception area where I work is approximately 12 feet from the door. I also deal in the trucking industry where there are a lot of drivers out there that are on something that can alter their behavior, They act very nervous or erratic. I can say when I am there by myself I do lock the front door, if I can't see where they have broke down or they are not on my lot I don't let them in. It drives my boss crazy because I lock the door when he goes to lunch and sometimes I forget unlock it before he gets back, I also lock it when I go to the bathroom because I don't want to come out and someone is standing there. Maybe it is just me but where I work it is a man thing and of course they can defend themselves (they think) but I'm thinking nobody gives a crap about me. (Company and Co-Workers) I feel like I can do a great service to our area and I have many people that I have talked to casually about this. They have told me if I can get a distributorship for the taser party they want me to contact them. I also have a very strong feeling for helping people and I'm pretty sure that is not a bad thing with your company.

VIOLENT CRIME SURVIVOR

Hello,

I am someone who is a survivor of violent crime, as a young woman I was fairly ignorant of my personal safety, always thinking that I was invincible and ‘knowing’ nothing would ever happen to me – that stuff happens to other women. Then ‘it’ happened, I had no way of defending myself, if I had a product such as this, I just may have been able to have gotten away and disabled my attacker long enough to get a head start on at least hiding from him thus sparing my self from years of trauma and nightmares. I am sure you know from either personal experience or the testimonials what that feels like to have complete hopelessness and fear overcome every cell in your body from head to toe and with no protection you don’t know what to do but freeze and panic and know your impending doom. I wished I were one of those women who had the where-with-all to do something before I was assaulted. I didn’t know how to protect myself nor did I have the strength to get away. I was young and naive.

I am a survivor and have been through many years of counseling and am a survivor! I would love to ‘arm’ women with that protection that they may need at sometime in their life. Unfortunately the statistics are only growing against us. If we protect ourselves, then the statistics will start to go against our attackers.

I am certainly interested in becoming a representative for your product. I am a passionate woman who would love to empower others so they would not have to go through what I did, or have to go through something they may have already have gone through. One thing is for certain, I am more aware of my surroundings, and don’t go into parking lots in the dark, etc. I am certainly smarter for my past ‘experience’.
